He was predeceased by: his father Paul F. Hoffman; and his siblings, Lorraine Salzman, May Miller and Robert Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Merrick; his children, Kate Couey (Jason) of Spokane, WA, Tessa Jones (David) of Houston, TX and Paul Hoffman Jr. (Christina) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Shao Hoffman-Sanchez (Julia), Macy, Emma, Max and Sophia Hoffman A; and his friends, Tom "Razz" Kroll, Willy Sasse, Terry "Fluff" Kroll and Mark Knobel.
As Paul's Earthly life had come to an end, he and the Hoffman family had the opportunity to save another life through a liver donation; and help many others through American Tissue Services and the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin. Memorials in Paul's name may be directed to the family for a donation to the Clintonville High School Recreation Center to be used for children's swimming lessons.
