He is survived by: his wife Doris Mather; his children, Timothy (Treva), Sarah Jacobs (Robert), Bel Air, Catherine Gastineau (Michael), Laura Hill (Anthony), Fort Wayne and Michael (Michele); his stepchildren, Catherine Mather-Grimes (Dwight) and Geoffrey Mather (Ellen); and his sister Elisabeth Long. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
