He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wegener and Evern Wegener (Miller); his brothers-in-law, Lloyd Pingel (Josephine) and Len "Fuzz Nutters" Pingel (Toni); his sister Marjorie Fischer; and his siblings-in-law, Esther Pingel, Orville Pingel, Lois Bula (Francis), William Pingel, Jr., Joyce Krueger, Dennis Hegewald and Carmen Pingel.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pingel; his siblings, Jerry Wegener (Linda) and Beverly Fietzer (Ronald); and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Pingel, Marie Podjaski (Myron), Marianne Hegewald, Loretta Lucht (John) and Patsy Pingel.
