He is survived by: his wife Jane Borchardt; his children, Pam Evans, George Borchardt, Jr. (Brenda Zoellick), Bill Borchardt (Jean), Mike Borchardt (Amie) and John Borchardt (Monica); his stepsons, Wade Wisnefske (Katie) and Wyatt Wisnefske; his son-in-law Ernie Witte; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Wes, Jake, Cody, Alicia, Elijah, Emily, Amber, Vince, Nick, McKenna, Kaija, Breanna, Salina, Morgan, Preston, Olivia, Edon, Summer and Autumn; his siblings, Margie Schmitt (Casey), Susan Doman (Richard) and James Borchardt (Tena); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Bakke (Robert), Robert James Weideman (Janice), Rita Mueller (William), Richard Weideman, Lois Lawrence (Larry), Lana Fitzmaurice (Jeff) and Ronald Weideman.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by George's family.
