He was predeceased by: his parents, Nesley Osterberg and Sophie Osterberg (Leilekaus); his wife Janet Bennett of Peter's Catholic Church; his grandson David Osterberg, Jr.; his sister Barbara Vold (Russell); his in-laws, George and Bernice Bennett; his brother-in-law Bernie Bennett; and his nephew Scott Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie Ort (Brad), Peggy Artz (John "Sonny") and David Osterberg (Kay); his grandchildren, Joshua Ort (Jessie), Jason Ort (Joanna), Bradley Ort (Nikki), Logan Artz (McKenna), Amber Baurain (Tyler), Shawna Tobin, Micah Osterberg, Westley Osterberg, Alaina Osterberg and Timmy Kananman; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Autumn, Bailey, Riley, Faith, Lily, Granger, Grant, Cooper and Donovan; his sister Bonnie Champeny; and his brother-in-law Dean Bennett (Karen).
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for the Tunnel To Towers Foundation which assists wounded veterans.
