He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Rettkowski and Hazel Rettkowski Sr. (Kelbach); his brother Otto Rettkowski Jr.; his sister-in-law Shirley Rettkowski; and his nephew Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Kersten (Herman) of Tigerton, John Rettkowski (Beverly) of Tigerton and Ronald Rettkowski (Delores) of Tigerton; and his close friend Joan Malphy of Janesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including one niece.
