She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ebert and Lulu Ebert (Schoneck); her husband Elroy A. Mehlberg; her son Joel; her great grandchild Jalyn Krueger; and her siblings, William E. Ebert, Mary Beyer (Don), Helen Wurl (Carl), Lori Kroening, Jean Ebert, Sandi Gielow, Arlene Schultz (Roger) and Barbara Sawall.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Breitenfeldt (Bruce), Patricia Frederick, Jan Krueger (Gary), Debra Desens (Dennis) and Timothy Mehlberg (Carol); her daughter-in-law Lynn Mehlberg (Tim Geiger); her grandchildren, Nicole, Jason (Claire), Ryan Breitenfeldt (Gina), Brian Frederick (Nicole Budd), Andrea Wetterau (Trevor), Lisa (Matt), Stuart Mehlberg, Philip, Paula, Patrick Krueger (Jessica), Peter (Jessica), Joshua, Kimberly Desens (Richard Degener), Bethany Grunewald and Kristin Elandt (Alex); her brother Ken Ebert (Shari); and her siblings-in-law, Joan Ebert, Dennis Gielow and Henry Sawall.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by Elaine's family.
