Doris L. Vollmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris L. Vollmer (Clintonville, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Daniel Wendt and Frieda Wendt (Helmig); her husband Martin A. Vollmer; her children, Valentine Vollmer and Carol Lynn Rusch; her children-in-law, Donna Mae Vollmer, Douglas Gee and Peter Smith; her siblings, Violet Viitanen, Wilburn Wendt, Eugene Wendt and Donald Wendt; her siblings-in-law, Arthur Dahlke and Judy Wendt; and her parents-in-law, Irvin, Louella Steinke, Vernon, LaVera Tullberg, Marlin, Violet Conradt, Bonnie Sanderfoot, James Vollmer and LeeIla Zitske.
She is survived by: her children, Arlyn Vollmer, Milyn Vollmer, Sharon Pelkey (Patrick), Susan Gee, Donna Johnson (Gerald) and Elaine Gast (Kenny); her son-in-law James Rusch; her siblings, Eleanor Dahlke, Jane Dreiske and Marvin Wendt; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Wendt, Gerry Wendt, Sandy Vollmer and Lyle Sanderfoot. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held for immediate family members only.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to ThedaCare Friends of Hospice or St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville.
