He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Sawall and Edna Sawall (Knapp); his wife Carmen Oestreich; and his siblings, Milton, Ramona, Verlyn and Jeannie.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Oestreich (Robert), Donald Sawall (Rose), Thomas Sawall (Sherry), Connie Nimis (Don), Kathleen Van Dinter (Nick) and Steve Sawall (Terri Novak). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by his family.
