It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Arthur Kaphingst of Clintonville, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Donald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kaphingst and Edith Kaphingst (Anderson); his wife Mary; his daughter Cindy Krueger (Tim); his grandson Terry Krueger; his brothers, John "Jack" Kaphingst (Jean) and Jim Kaphingst (Mary); and his brother-in-law Bill Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Kaphingst of Port Charlotte, FL, Thomas Kaphingst (Yuki) of McKinney, TX and Sandra Hanson (Jeff Schaut) of Peshtigo; and his sister Margaret Stewart of Topeka, KS.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christus Lutheran Church (120 N Main St, Clintonville, WI 54929). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
