He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Jirschele and Marie Jirschele (Helms); his wife Mary Raffin; his sons, Thomas, Peter, Douglas and James; and his brother Charles Jirschele.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Schultz (Dennis), Michael Jirschele (Sheri), Margaret Arneson (Dave), Janice Higgins (Brian) and Karen Nowak (Douglas); his grandchildren, Sydney Schultz, Sawyer Schultz (Brooke), Jeremy Jirschele (Jennie), Jennifer Soldner (Al), Justin Jirschele (Liz), Tori Erickson (Aaron), Marlee Jorgensen (Brent), Samuel Arneson (Ardita), Alli Martins (Joe), Erin Higgins (Zach Evers), Jackson Higgins and Victoria Nowak; his great grandchildren, Keagen, Taelyn, Paetyn, Taetym, Rielyn, Parker, Paxton, Pierce, Blake, Mila, Ivy, Lennon, Jorah and Maven; his brother Richard Jirschele (Norma); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Jirschele and Judy Raffin.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by Don's family.
