She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Hughes and Orlene Nelson of Minneapolis. She is survived by: her son Robb; her former husband Robert; her grandchildren, Esperanza, Cynthia, Brycen, Kaeden, Paola and Manny; her brother Mike Hughes of Haslett, MI; and her cousin Dale Reisewitz of Eagan, MN..

She was 82 and had survived a stroke, two hip replacements and a six-month struggle with Covid.
