He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nichols and Ada Nichols (Cahoon); his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Seviah, Carrie, Mary, Myra, Carmine and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Engelhardt (Terry), Kathy Nowak (Frank), Dan Nichols (Sue), Mike Nichols (Janet), Barb Wilson (Tom), Pat Nichols (Lynn) and Mark Nichols; and his grandchildren, Michelle Kruckeberg (Gilbert), Jason Engelhardt, Jenny Nowak (Rupen Balca), Jessica Jurkowitsch (Freddy), Jeremie Nichols (Kristi), Lindsay Doland (Nick), Sara Kitzrow (Justin), Chris (Kelly), Matt, Ben Nichols (Ashley), Erik (Beth), Kelly Hollander and Jordan Nichols. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
