She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bucher and Hildegard Bucher (Voigt); her son Gregory; her siblings, Lorraine Heger and Charles Bucher; and her brother-in-law Paul Heger.
She is survived by: her husband Knute Thompson; her daughter Linda Kinziger (Bill); her grandchildren, Kali and Jack Kinziger; and her brother Jerome Bucher (Kathi).
