She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kreutzer and Sophia Kreutzer (Backhaus); her husband Walter Hakala; her grandmother Mary; her aunt Ella; her sisters, Idella Rasmussen, Mary Ann Alvey (Bill) and Clarice Hintz (Earl); her parents-in-law, Johanna (Juoni) and Henry Hakala; and her siblings-in-law, Jenny Plosila Sturkol (Hakala), Fanny Seppala (Hakala), Impi Stenman (Hakala), Helia Backman (Hakala), Mildred Warren (Hakala), Femmie Utto (Hakala), William, Henry, John and Ralph Hakala. She is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
