He is survived by: his children, Johnny Akim III (Brea) and Jade Akim (Tyler); his grandchildren, Rasheed, Evelyn, Isabelle and Addison; and his siblings, Bennet Akim (Bonnie), Bob Akim, Michelle Baskerville (Jason) and Melanie Akim (Angela Akim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
