He is survived by: his wife Yoshiko "Yo" Sugita; his children, Taka Madson of Oshkosh, WI and Nikki Padilla (Jerome) of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Zenzo, Koan and Mirai Padilla; his brother Mark Madson of Clinton; his nephew Luke Madson (Lindsey); his niece Laura Johnson (Mitch); and his close friend Brad DeLong. He is also survived by brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
