Chris Piehler Vance wrote a sympathy message

“Very few people will leave a hole in our lives when they leave us. Carol is one of those very special people. Carol made such a difference in the lives of so many. Her family, the children she taught in Sunday School, the community she and Bruce served for most of their lives, their Jefferson Prairie Church family and so many more. She will be greatly missed. But there is no doubt that she and Bruce are together in their heavenly home.”
