He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverel Vogel and Norma Vogel (Lutze); his parents-in-law, Walter and Orvilla Stoeckigt; his brother Lloyd Vogel (Dorothy); and his brothers-in-law, Howard Jaeger, Eugene Stoeckigt, Karl Stoeckigt and Ronald Scheffler.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Vogel; his children, Tammy Serketich (Steven) of Sheboygan and Rick Vogel (Susan) of Milwaukee; his granddaughters, Abigail Roethel (Reid), Natalie Serketich (Eric Lodes), Julia and April Vogel; his great grandchild Eleanor Roethel; his sister Grace Jaeger; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Scheffler, Ruth Stoeckigt, Jean Stoeckigt and Gary Stoeckigt (Karen).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Wayne's name.
