He was predeceased by: his parents, Arno Hansmann and Elsie Hansmann (Fiedler); his wife Jessie Logan; his daughter Judith Hansmann-Fong; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Logan, Bill, Wally, John and Gerald; and his niece Kathy Chappelow.
He is survived by: his children, David Hansmann (Ann) of Plymouth, Jeff Hansmann (Mary Lee) of Kohler, Diane Hansmann (Chico) of Hanover Park, IL, Debbie Miller (Steve) of Boise, Jennifer Hansmann (Andy) of Crystal Lake and Jackie Hansmann (Tate) of Elkhart Lake; his son-in-law Kai Fong; his grandchildren, Mei (Jake), Kim (Garrett), Danielle, Nicole (Jeff), Megan, Jerry (Jessica), Jordan, Jazmine, Tara, Cylus, Sarah (Todd), Eric (Stacy) and Katie (Mitch); his great grandchildren, Elliot, Ezra, Talitha, Ephraim, Gabe, Greg, Lilly, Aria, Elise, Morgan and Sage; his sister Darlene Mobley (Allen) of Blue Springs, MO; his nephews, Tony Chappelow (Kelli), Ben Chappelow and Jakob Mobley; his sister-in-law Susan Johnson; his nephews, Chris Logan, Sean Johnson and Eric Johnson; and his niece Melanie Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Ron's name to Cleveland First Responders, Cleveland Lions Club, Cleveland Athletic Association or St. James United Church of Christ.
