He is survived by: his children, Laurie Sixel (Scott Smith), Brian Henschel (Wendy), Steven Henschel and Todd Henschel (Lori); his daughter-in-law Tammy Gabsch; his grandchildren, Jessica Sixel (Scott Quasius), Morgan, Amanda Henschel, Jack Henschel, Justin Henschel, Josh Henschel (Karlie) and Jacob Henschel (Abby Hittman); his great grandchild Liam Henschel; and his siblings, Janice Brass (William) and Gerald Henschel (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
