She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Luecke and Aurelia Luecke; her granddaughter Angela Grunewald; her siblings, Virginia Krupp (William) and Carl Luecke; and her parents-in-law, Arno and Hertha Grunewald.

She is survived by: her husband Harvey Grunewald; her children, Steve Grunewald (Barb), Jan Grunewald (Debbie) and Laurie Doty (Alan); and her grandchildren, Michael Grunewald, Jason Grunewald (Amanda), Douglas Grunewald (Linnea), Mandy Heffernan (Gordon), Paul Doty (Leah), Andy Grunewald (Megan), Thomas Doty (Sarah) and Matthew Doty (Emily). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary Ann's name.
