He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dirks and Alvira Dirks (Grunwald); his wife Shirley Erickson; and his in-laws, Antone and Wava Erickson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Heling (Larry) of Town Mosel and Tammy Koenig (Peter) of Fall Creek, WI; his grandchildren, Erick Heling (Amelia), Crystal Walls (Seth), Casey Koenig and Brittany Cynor (Travis); his great grandchildren, Chase, Azalea, Iris Heling, Eoin, Gavin, AnnaBella, Jaxin, Roklin, Kannin Walls, Aubrey, Ashlyn Koenig-Velie, Skylar, Quinton and Isaac Cynor; his brother Dale Dirks of Town; and his siblings-in-law, Antoinette Horky, Pete and Thomas Erickson (Debbie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark's UCC, Cleveland, WI and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
