He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Klessig and Margaret Klessig (Kraft); his siblings, Heidi (Frankie) and Conrad; his stepson Mike Rieck; and his grandson Jonathan Rieck.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Bennin; his children, Lori Steuerwald (John) of Cascade, Mark "Herman" Klessig (Claudia) of West Bend and Paul Klessig (Tina) of Howards Grove; his grandchildren, Lyndsey, Adrian, Nikalis, Olivia and Mara; his great grandchildren, Madison, Jack and Carmelo Rivera; and his siblings, Pauline Senno, Elise Heimerl (Jerry), Fred "Bucky" (Young), Karl (Liz) and Robert (Kathleen). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
