He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rasmussen and Emma Rasmussen (Rosseter); his brother-in-law Buster Meeks; and his nephew Ronnie Hecht. He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Lauff (Forrest) of Cameron, Stephanie Rasmussen of Cumberland and Heather Rasmussen (Brent) of Clayton; his grandchildren, Emma, AnnaLynn, Codie, Kori, Andrew, Abigail, Natalie, Kari and Fynn; and his siblings, Roxanne Burke (Edwin), Becky Rasmussen, Debbie Rasmussen (Mike), Berta Rasmussen and Ronnie Rasmussen. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles.
