We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Larry F Johnson of Clayton, Wisconsin, born in Hopkins, Minnesota. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Aimee Johnson (Matchkey); his brothers, George, Lee and Jim; and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Flora Stafne.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Stafne; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Johnson, LaDonna Johnson, Ron Stafne (Sharon), DeWayne Stafne, Dave Stafne (Deb), Bruce Stafne (Rachel), Rick Stafne (Maria) and Mike Stafne (Bonnie); and his godchildren, Chad DuBois and Alice Cherney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“When I was 16, my car broke down at the cabin. My dad, Bob Miller, told me to knock on Larry’s door to see if he could help. I never remember meeting Larry before. However, Larry spent the entire next day getting my car to run. He never asked for a penny. We were lake neighbors for 15 years. He loved my dogs. Whenever they would visit him, he had a treat waiting for them. I haven't seen Larry this year, so I am very sad. He is one of the nicest men I have ever met. God bless, Sandy. I am sorry!”
