He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvia Merriman and Inez Merriman (Roatch); his wife Donna Luhmann; his son Terrence; his siblings, Lee "Putt", Bill, Rex, Mavis, Donna Jean, Maxine, Max, Monie and Merlin; and his daughter-in-law Laurie.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward (Cynthia) of Rio Rancho, NM and Lynn of Clayton, WI; his grandchildren, Craig (Linda) of Ely, MN and Amanda of Clayton, WI; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Beau, Alex, Sean and Elizabeth; and his great great grandchild Peyton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St, River Falls, WI 54022). The military honors was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 121 of River Falls (701 N Main St, River Falls, WI 54022).
