He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet A. Benware, (Smith) and George J. Benware, Jr.; and his brother Scott Benware. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ekstrom; his children, Kristen, Kristi Niles (Bill), Andy Benware (Julie) and Gunnar Benware; his grandchildren, Montana, Drew, Kelli, Taryn Niles, Madeline, Grant Benware, Reese, Charli and Marty Benware; the mother of his children Mary Benware; his sister Gail Proctor (Robert); and his sister-in-law Diane Benware.
