He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice "Vernie" (Zenner) and William E. Howie; and his wife Doreen Bjerke. He is survived by: his children, Gordon Howie (Kris) of Eleva, Malinda Hebert (Ryan) of Chetek and Victoria Blomberg (Jeff) of Chetek; his sister Beth Howie of Mondovi; and his grandchildren, Seth, Grace, Benjamin Kreibich, Noah Hebert, Jane, Ann Blomberg, William and Anabel Howie.
