He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Stai and Alta Stai (Hutchinson); and his siblings, Anita Saling, Lyle Stai, Theresa Voldness and Jolene Peyton.
He is survived by: his sons, Jake Stai (Amy Knutson) and Jason Stai of New Auburn; and his siblings, Vicki Brunken of Boise, ID and Wayne Stai of Forest Ranch, CA. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
