He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kohl and Mildred Kohl (Lillie); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Henningsen; his sons, Korey Kohl (Nancy) of Hudson and Trent Kohl (Benida) of Delafield; his grandchildren, Zachary Kohl, Jacob Kohl (Stephanie), Rebecca Nielson (Jer), Alan Kohl (Sarah), Tanner Kohl, Lindsey Kohl and Mariah Kohl; and his great grandchildren, Jordy Nielson, Blake Nielson and Thea Kohl.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Presbyterian Church of Chippewa Falls.
