She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schemenauer and Angeline Schemenauer (Bowe); her husband Marvin J. Franz; her daughter-in-law Tammy Franz; and her siblings, Cyril, Percy, Merwyn, John "Jack" Jr., Emmanuel "Butch" Schemenauer, Florine Goettl, Mary Ann Bohl and Iris Secraw.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Franz (Pam) of Chippewa Falls, Brent Franz (Debi) of Chippewa Falls, Kyle Franz (Stephanie) of Chippewa Falls, Shelly Retzlaff (Scott) of Chippewa Falls and Kristie Escobedo (Martin) of Ames, Iowa; her siblings, Herman Schemenauer (Pat) of Chippewa Falls, Steve Schemenauer (Mary Jane) of Chippewa Falls, Allen Schemenauer (Marcella "Mitzi") of Chippewa Falls, Marcy Morrisette of Chippewa Falls, Eileen Schneider (Norman "Sam") of Chippewa Falls and Linda Whitelaw of Chippewa Falls; her grandchildren, Tyler (Missi), Carter, Trevor, Luke, Erin Franz, Dustin Hassemer (Chanda), Riley Strasburg (Brooke), Michael Strasburg (Lisa), Cindy Pierce (Bailey), Ben, Garett, Sydney Retzlaff, Elia and Maximiliano Escobedo; and her siblings-in-law, William Secraw of Colfax, Betty of Chippewa Falls, Barbara of Chippewa Falls and Cecilia Schemenauer of Chippewa Falls. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
