She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Soldat and Wilhelmina Soldat (Petak); her former husband Charles C. Smrz; her son Larry Smrz; and her granddaughters, Tina Hall and Jennifer Smrz.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Schneider; her daughters, Chris Hall (Thomas) and Kathleen Baker; and her grandchildren, Thomas Hall (Deanna), Teri Hurrion (Jason), Jeff Baker (Loryn), Greg Baker, Dennis Baker, Rebecca Smrz and Kevin Smrz. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Her favorite charity was the Best Friends Animal Society which she always made a donation to.
