He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolores Stary and Lawrence Stary; and his brothers, Michael, Frederick, Richard and David Stary.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Stary of Lafayette, WI, Thomas Stary (Christine) of Cadott, WI, Susan Stary of Winchester, KY, Catherine Littrell (Kevin) of Winchester, KY, Mark Stary (Jeff Coombs) of San Diego, CA and Patti O'Dell of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special family friends.
