He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Dachel and Blanche Dachel (Uhler); and his niece Laurie Lacina. He is survived by: his wife Anne McElroy; his children, John of Chippewa Falls, Daniel Dachel of Chippewa Falls, Catherine (Matt Nelson) of Chippewa Falls and Laura (Tyler Lane) of Eau Claire; and his siblings, Roger Dachel (Leona) of Chippewa Falls, JoAnne Sheils (Bill) of Savannah and Carol Dachel of Chippewa Falls. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
