He was predeceased by: his parents, Myles Smith and Lucille Smith (Phalen); and his siblings, John and Mary Kay. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Stacey Smith (Cindy) of Paw Paw, MI and Jill Sherman (Timothy) of Kalamazoo, MI; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Kyle Smith and Hannah Sherman; his great grandchild Blakelyn Smith; and his siblings, Betty Wild of Colorado Springs, CO and Patrick Smith (Susan) of Lafayette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Historical Society, Irvine Park, or charity of your choice.
