He was predeceased by: his parents, Clebourn Benner and Iola Benner (Grimm); his parents-in-law, Ewald and Goldine Schiefelbein; his son Douglas Benner; his daughters-in-law, Manuella Benner and Julie Benner; his siblings, Arlen Benner, Loretta Nix and Richard Benner; his siblings-in-law, Nan Benner and Marvin Bischoff; and his brother Dale Benner.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Schiefelbein; his children, Brad Benner of Tomahawk, WI, Linda Atchley (Steve) of Chippewa Falls, WI and Greg Benner (Melissa) of Chippewa Falls, WI; his grandchildren, Crystal Benner, Adam Benner, Laura Atchley, Sarah Atchley, Alicia Stearns (Jimmy) and Isaac Benner; his great grandchildren, Riley Benner and Brantley Repinski; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Benner and Jerome Nix; his sister Marlene Bischoff; his sister-in-law Mary Benner; his sister Gale Olson (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Harold Schiefelbein (Irene) and Marge Schmidt (Gary). He is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (733 Woodward Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church.
