It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Goettl of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert, Sr. Goettl and Veronica Goettl (Swoboda); his siblings, Clement Goettl and Eunice Steinmetz; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne "Skeeter" Stolt and Bertha Goettl.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Murphy; his daughters, Heather Thornton (Tony) and Holly Vavra (Scott); his stepson Jake (Elysia); his grandchildren, Kayla, Emily, Carly Vavra, Caleb, Greta Thornton, Drew and Gracie Goettl; his siblings, Michael (Beverly), Albert Goettl (Nancy), Emily Meinen (Clarence), Marilyn Bowe (Randy) and Cheri Stolt; his brother-in-law Vernon Steinmetz; and his friend Shandy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
