He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Duss and Rozella Duss (Derks); his stepfather Leo Mahr; his daughter-in-law Tamara Duss; and his siblings, Donald Duss (Carol), Gerald Duss (LaVern), Arlene BaDour and Grace Kyes (Lauren).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Ryba; his children, Larry (Denise), Ricky (Jackie) and Jane Simmons (Joe); his grandchildren, Crystal Huset (Adam), Richard, Alex (Nikki), Billy (Maggie), Andrew, Ashley Sarazen (Josh) and Nathan Simmons (Ashley); his stepgrandson Andrew Grikstas; his siblings, Dean Mahr (Mary), Rita Romanski (Kenny), Mary Lou Miland, Sandra Wanish and Roxanne Caswell (Tim); and his brother-in-law James BaDour. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
