He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smith and Evelyn Smith (Iverson); his stepmother Ruby Smith; and his siblings, Marlene James, Karen Smith and Kermit Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Bowe of Joseph's Chapel; his daughters, Tracy Smith (Charlotte) of Chippewa Falls and Lisa Taylor (Chad) of La Crosse; his grandsons, Christopher and Hudson; and his siblings, Kent Smith (Karen), Keenan Smith and Karla Jenson (Steve).
