He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Wergeland and Dorothy Wergeland (Young); his half-brothers, Roy and Earl Johnson; his sister-in-law Mary E. Proue; and his father-in-law Edward Proue.
He is survived by: his daughters, Afton and Krystal; his wife Cindy; his grandchildren, Mak Pethes and Ava Tracy; his brother Ken Wergeland (Mary); his mother-in-law Ardis Proue; and his siblings-in-law, Deb Braden, Barbara Sommerfeld (John), Cheryl Dahl (Roger), Tim Proue (Mary), Tom Proue (Tammie) and Randy Proue (Elaine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
