He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Peebles and Carol Peebles (Witte). He is survived by: his fiancée Bernadette Weider; his fiancée's children, Chad Weider, Derek Weider (Courtney) and Danielle Weider (Robert Mochel); his grandson Johnny Weider; his brother Jan Peebles (Vicki); his nephew Thomas Peebles; and his niece Chloe Peebles.
