He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Syverson and Lela Syverson (Downer); his wife Donna Burgin; his children, LaVerne Syverson and Denise Roach; his brother Alan Syverson; and his siblings-in-law, Jane, Marian Syverson, Eva Mott (Ron), Esther, Thelma Burgin and Eldon Bookless.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kara Allen of Eau Claire, Deanna Zeman (Joe) of Stoughton, WI and Jesse Schultz of Eau Claire; his great grandchild Emrys Zeman; his son-in-law Paul Roach of Albertville; his siblings, Daniel of Albertville, Richard of Albertville, Kenneth Syverson of Albertville and Anita "Buk" Racine (Terry) of South Dakota; and his sisters-in-law, Myrtle Bookless of Lindsborg and Ruthie Redd (Wilbur) of Buhler. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred as a donation to the National Honor Flight Network.
