He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Bourget and Edith Bourget (Geist); his wife Patricia Jodie of Anthony's Church; and his siblings, William, Robert Bourget and Betty Henning.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Bourget of Chippewa Falls, Michelle Bourget of Altoona and Melissa Bourget of Eleva; his sister Carol Waldusky of Chippewa Falls; his grandchildren, Miranda Smith, Meghan Sykora (Ryan), Kiersten Smith, Kole Smith, Emily Gudis (Casey "Bubba"), James Welch and Jenna Welch; and his great grandchildren, Kahlei, Kapri, Oaklei, Ivy, Beckham and Elizabeth.
