He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schemenauer and Christine Schemenauer (Swoboda); his siblings, Alfred, Gregory, Gerald, Thomas, Francis "Pretzel", Kenneth and Virginia Wermund; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Wermund, Robert Bohl, Wallace Bowe, Karen Schemenauer, Pat Schemenauer and Dolores Schemenauer.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Sheila Horel (William) of Chippewa Falls and Lisa Johnson (Robb) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Tyler Horel (Tessa), Ally Smith (Jeremi), Alexis and Hogan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Ethan Horel and Evan Smith; his siblings, Richard (Diane) of Chippewa Falls, Charles of Chippewa Falls, Daniel Schemenauer of Chippewa Falls, Patricia Bohl of Chippewa Falls, Elizabeth Bowe of Chippewa Falls and Carol Bohl (Steve) of Chippewa Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Schemenauer, Rose Schemenauer and Betty Bohl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
