He was predeceased by: his wife Sally; his parents, Robert O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (Roncskevitz); his sister Florence Romano (O'Brien); and his brother-in-law Joseph Romano.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynda Mattison (Michael); his grandchildren, Ryan Mattison (Trista), Kevin Mattison (Emily), Katie Mitchell (Jake) and Tyler Mattison (Allison Kaiser); and his cousins, Frank Roncskevitz (Pat) and Ken Roncskevitz (Arlene). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
