He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George A. Martell and Evelyn Martell (Harvey); his children, Mike (Sandy), Bruce (Marie), Joe (Barb) of Marshfield, Jeff of Cornell, Laura Sykora (Ted) of Milton, Mary Mooney (Josh) of Amherst and Jenny Blunt (Chuck) of Wausau; his son-in-law Jeff Bergeman; his sisters, Corky Rubenzer, Margie Paradise and Dorothy Bruhling; his sisters-in-law, Julie Schmidt, Wendy, RoJean Kjelvik and Lynn "Tootie" Hornak; his wife Hjordis Ilene Kjelvik; his children, Doug Martell and Sue Bergeman; his grandson Richard Schlageter; his great grandchild Marcus Blunt; and his siblings, Art, Donny, George, Chuckie Martell, Betty Hayes, Rosemary Martell and Bev Hansen. He was also cherished by 9 children, followed by 24 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in Francis's memory to the St. Francesca Food Pantry.
