With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Brunstad of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fern Brunstad to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Gessner and Velna Gessner (Trader); her husband Loyd A. Brunstad; her children, Tammy Pickerign, Laura King and John Brunstad; her grandson Colton Evans; and her brother James Gessner.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Brunstad (Jeanette) of Chippewa Falls, Barb Newton (Ron) of Centreville, Virginia, Debi Prueher (Bob) of Wausau and Sandi Peterson (Henry) of Hillsboro; her children-in-law, Tom Pickerign of Eau Claire, Bret King of Chippewa Falls and Beth Vagle of Brainard, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Zach, Matt, Bethany, Cassie, Andy, Luke, Ali, James, Turner, Ben, Joyce, Chris, Emily, Joey, Rachel, Phil, Nick, Abbie and Becca; and her sisters, Colleen Schwegman and Amelia Jaent. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity United Methodist Church.
