Eddie Porter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddie Porter of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Porter (Rose) and Deward "Jack" Porter; and his brothers, Teddy and Mark Porter. He is survived by: his wife Jean Amundson; his children, Jason Porter of Stafford, VA, Josh Porter of Eau Claire and Nicole Hardt (Adam) of Gaithersburg, MD; his siblings, Jeffrey Porter of Rockton, IL and Julie Burns (Tom) of Holcombe; his grandchildren, Jason, Bella, Jocelyn, Ruby, Jackson and Vivian; and his mother-in-law Edith Amundson of Pigeon Falls. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Due to the health and safety for everyone who may be attending the service, social distancing, minimal contact and face coverings are mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to one of Eddie's favorite charities, St. Jude.
