With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy V. Mehls of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 28, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Wright and Ethel Wright (Rogers); her husbands, Leo Hedrington and James Mehls; her daughter-in-law Barbara Hedrington; her stepson-in-law Charles Russell; and her siblings, George Wright, Eleanor Beranek and Mildred Schulz.
She is survived by: her children, Debra West (Bruce) of New Auburn and Richard Hedrington (Diane) of Colfax; her stepchildren, James D. Mehls (Margaret) of Whitefish Bay, Constance Russell of Eau Claire, Jocelyn Hoeper (Peter) of Davidson, NC and Faye Vroman (Ryan) of Eden Prairie, MN.; her grandchildren, Heather Dresel (Jason), Alison Kurth (Chad), Mathew Hedrington (Katie), John West (Alyece), Patrick Russell (Kathrine), Kelly Morrell (Timothy), Joseph Hoeper, Monica Sanders (James), Natalie Hoeper (Zachary Pfeiffer), Alexandria Mehls, Seamus Mehls, Riley Mehls, Nicole Stanley (Ted) and Brooke Gmyrek (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Cole, Alexy Dresel, Julianne, Jenavieve, Isabelle Kurth, Beatrix, Cecelia Hedrington, Ethan, Lennox West, Charlotte, Hugo Russell, Molly, Caitlin Morrell, Benjamin, Catherine Pfeiffer and Addison Stanley; and also, John Lawrence, Mandy Olson (Greg), Jeremy Lawrence and Dustin Lawrence (Amber). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren.
